EPISODE 6: Behind-the-Scenes with Gary Sturgis

I had the chance to shoot a really talented actor by the name of Gary Sturgis recently and the interview, as well as the photo shoot, was totally not what I expected. His characters in movies such as "Diary Of A Mad Black Woman," "Pride" and "Daddy's Little Girls" always portray him as the drug-dealing, street thug who's always out doing wrong and up to no good. But truth is, in real life, Gary's always laughing! I really wanted to show that in this behind-the-scenes video, so that people get the chance to dispell any misguided opinions about who the real Gary Sturgis is, as opposed to the characters he acts out in movies.

What I also didn't know about Gary, beyond him being the face we see on the big screen, he's also lended his voice to a TON of voice-over spots we've all heard, but probably never knew was him! He's done voices for Disney characters on TV and in movies, as well as commercials, UPN, that voice you hear for movie previews in the theaters (lol) and a whole lot more. This dude is really talented and I'm so glad I was blessed to work with him and have a lot of fun doing it.
